Joseph Baptiste

Joseph Baptiste is an old man in a teenage body, the eldest of the siblings. Before the storm, he was a sensible young man bound for great things. He has become less mature and more irresponsible as he watches his father do the same. He knows his father is coping with a mental illness, but isn't sure how to deal with these feelings. His father makes him work after school to keep him out of trouble.
